Duplication of Off-Page Connectors

This article is suitable for a Process Mapper

Ref: AR20091106
Last edited: September 28th 2011

Symptoms:

This will occur when a map has a mixture of old-style and new-style OPCs. Old-style OPCs consist of an individual OPC for each map connection with a single hyperlink for each OPC. New-style OPCs consist of a single connector with multiple hyperlinks. When running Refresh Off-page Connectors, the old OPCs are removed correctly but a second duplicate new-style connector is added to the map.

Solution:

Versions 9.1 and onwards have a Delete all off-page connectors function. Run this tool from the Multi-Map menu option. Once completed, run Refresh Off-Page Connectors. On completion, the duplicates will have been eliminated.

Applies to:
  • Process Navigator 4.60, 4.61, 4.62, 4.63
