Configure the Triaster Server to use Google Analytics

Triaster Server 11.2

  1. Open \TriasterServer2011\Services\PubServerConfig.exe
  2. Go to the "Publication Settings Site Level 2 (Web Server)"
  3. For each Site that you wish to apply to your Google Analytics
    1. Enter the Google Analytics Web Property ID‎ - Example: UA-12345-12‎
  4. Press the Save button.
  5. Close the configuration utility.
  6. Perform a full republish of every effected site by doing the following:
    1. Go to the "\ProcessLibraries\<Library>\<Site>\html" directory.
    2. Backup the "html" directory.
    3. Remove all of the html directories content.
    4. Log on to the publication tool and publish the library.
  7. Verify that your site is getting analyzed, click here to find out how.
  8. When you are happy that the change has taken place without problems you can delete the previously backed up HTML directory
 

Triaster Server 10.1 and previous

  1. Open the file "\Config Files\<Library>\<Site>\Frameset.html" in Notepad. (the default locations for the Config Files folder are C:\Triaster\Config Files (pre 10.1) and C:\Program Files\Triaster\Publication Server\Config Files (10.1))
  2. Add your Google Analytics Tracking Code to the head section of the frameset.html.  For more information on getting your Google Analytics Tracking Code click here, it will look similar to this:

  3. Save and close the file.
  4. Perform a full republish of every effected site by doing the following:
