Specify Multiple Output Files in Excel

This article is suitable for a Process Mapper

When importing map to Excel, Process Navigator can put all the maps in one single file, or as many - one file per Node.

By default, if no files are specified, Process Navigator will simply create a file with the same name as the Excel file, but with a .vdx extension. To override this, add a sheet into the Excel file named "Filenames" with 2 columns as below:

A. Node Reference
B. Path

Node Reference is a reference to a Node on the Process Elements sheet (see What is the Minimum valid Excel Input File? for an explanation of this), and path is the path to the target output file. If the path is relative, the target output will be generated relative to the location of the Excel file.
