You can modify the publication notification e-mail address by following these steps:
- First, you will need to access the config.xml file held on your publication server. The location of this file will depend on where you have chosen to install the publication services, e.g. "C:\Triaster\PublicationWrapper\config.xml" or "C:\Program Files\Triaster\PublicationServer\PublicationWrapper\config.xml".
- Open the config.xml file within Notepad. There you will see three stages, Sandpit, Live and Prelive. Within each of these groups, you will need to modify the e-mail address (to send to multiple contacts see the note below).
- Once you have edited the e-mail address for each stage, save the file and close.
- Restart the 'PN Publication Wrapper' service to ensure the change takes effect. Information on how to do this can be found here.
Note: If the Clone E-mail address is changed, also in this file, then restart the 'Improvement Workbench Server' service.
NOTE: You could specify the e-mail address of a distribution group, so that changing the recipient(s) of the e-mails would just require changing the members of that group. Alternatively, multiple e-mail addresses could be specified, each separated by a comma. The value should not be enclosed within quotes. The mechanism chosen depends on what is easier to configure.
