Updating Menu item name

  1. Locate the Urls.txt file in the Static HTML folder on your webserver.
  2. Make a backup of this file before making any changes
  3. Change the name of the link of Main Link 1 by over typing the  text. It is essential that the text "&name1_0=>" is not altered in any way (X_0 denotes this is the name of the menu item X, X_Y denotes this is position Y of the sub menu of item X (if you have a sub menu))
  4. Save the file and close it
  5. Go to the Process Library and Hold Ctrl + F5 to force the homepage to reload
The Homepage will now display the new menu item

Updating Menu item link

  1. Locate the Urls.txt file in the Static HTML folder on your webserver.
  2. Make a backup of this file before making any changes
  3. Change the name of the link of Sub Link 1 1 by over typing the  text. It is essential that the text "&name1_1=>" is not altered in any way (X_0 denotes this is the name of the menu item X, X_Y denotes this is position Y of the sub menu of item X (if you have a sub menu))
  4. Locate the map in the library you wish to link to and copy the URL from and including HTML and replace the link in the file. You link should now look something like ../Html/HR/Selecting the candidate.html or ../Html/<Folder Name>/<File Name>.html where the path following ../html/ is the same as the path to the file in the folder from which the content is getting published, i.e. \3 Master\ and the file extention is .html rather than .vdx.  If you are linking to a sub page of a document, not the Map-Page 1 then you will use the file name <File Name>.<Page Name>.html where the page name relates to the visio page name and not the Node name.  It is recommended that relative paths are used for hyperlinks as this will enable the site to be cloned with less effort to update links.
  5. Save the file and close it
  6. Go to the Process Library and Hold Ctrl + F5 to force the homepage to reload
Click on the Main link to reveal the sub links, then select the new sublink to execute the new link
