Symptoms:
Publications are taking a long time to complete
Cause:
A long publish can be caused by a number of things but the most common reasons are:
- A slow network connection between the Filestore and the Publication Server
- A slow network connection between the Publication Server and the Web Server
- An overloaded processor on the Filestore/Publication Server/Web Server
- Low memory on the Filestore/Publication Server/Web Server
- Low hard disc space on the Filestore/Publication Server/Web Server
- Large images or complex vector graphics being included in each process map.
