Description:
When performing a shape replace on a Visio map, the double-click behaviour associated with shapes does not convert.
Example:
1. Right-click a Process shape within a Visio map. Select Format > Behaviour.
2. Then select the Double-click tab, Go to page option. Select the page you want to hyperlink to (e.g. another page). See image below.
3. Save the file.
4. Convert to vdx.
5. Perform Shape replace.
Shape replace works well; however, the double-click hyperlink to 'another page' has not converted to the new shape.
This is because the double click behaviour is shape-specific. For example, double clicking on an activity produces a drill-down with a hyperlink to lower page. The new shape should not necessarily have this behaviour.
Workaround
Instead of using the double-click behaviour, use the Insert > hyperlink behaviour as these links do convert during a shape replace.
