4. Adding and removing Authors

An Author or change authors name that is added to a process map needs to have an e-mail address associated with it. This is controlled under the edit authors option. Firstly log in to the approvals tool and under administration, select edit author. Only the name can be edited, if the e-mail address is incorrect, the user must be removed and added again.


If you already have an author in a process map but there is no e-mail address associated with them you can add them under the 'Add New Author' option. Press the Add Author button when complete. If they are brand new, they must also be added to the properties of the map.
