When searching the library from the web interface, the objects to search can be specified.

The file that underlies this filter page is Filter.aspx, commonly found in "\ProcessLibrary\<Live|PreLive|Sandpit>\Tools\Search" on the web server. This filter page can be amended so that objects can be selected by default when the Search page is opened.Open Filter.aspx in Notepad.

1. Find the line that corresponds to the check-box of the chosen object, e.g for Activities, this would be:

Where Activities aren't selected by default:
<td colspan="2" class="tcont2"><input id="cbOptions_0" runat="server" type="checkbox" name="cbOptions_0" tabindex="1"><label for="cbOptions_0">Activities</label></td>

Where Activities are selected by default:
<td colspan="2" class="tcont2"><input id="cbOptions_0" runat="server" type="checkbox" name="cbOptions_0" tabindex="1" checked><label for="cbOptions_0">Activities</label></td>

2. Note the 'checked' attribute.

3. Add or remove the 'checked' attribute as required.

4. Save the file
