A publication server is usually configured to send a notification e-mail at the end of a publication, but can be configured otherwise.

  1. On the publication server, in Windows Explorer, locate the PublicationWrapper configuration XML file, commonly:

    "C:\Program Files\Triaster\PublicationServer\PublicationWrapper\Config.xml"

  2. Open 'config.xml' in Notepad.

    (Note: in Windows Server 2008, Notepad will probably need to be run 'as administrator' so that the config.xml file can be edited and saved.)

  3. Find this setting:
    <ProcessNavigator>
      <Settings>
        .
        <SendEmail>True</SendEmail>
        .
      </Settings>
     and set SendEmail to the appropriate value - True or False.

  4. Save and close the file.

  5. Restart the 'PN Publication Wrapper' service for the new setting to take effect.
