Logging the installation of Process Navigator can be useful when trouble-shooting installation issues. If uninstalling, it's probably better to uninstall using the same executable or MSI package that was used to install.

Installing or Uninstalling from the Installation Executable

To install or uninstall Process Navigator from the installation executable, setup.exe, use the following command, either from a Command Prompt window, or from within a CMD file:

"D:\Process Navigator\setup.exe" /v"/lv* "C:\Temp\PNInstallLog.txt""

amending the paths and file names to suit, if necessary. Do note the use of double-quotes.

Depending on whether the software is installed or not, an install or uninstall will be invoked.

Installing from the MSI Package

To install Process Navigator from the MSI package, Setup.msi, use the following command, either from a Command Prompt window, or from within a CMD file:

msiexec /i "D:\Process Navigator\Setup.msi" /lv* "C:\Temp\PNInstallLog.txt"

amending the paths to suit, if necessary.

Uninstalling from the MSI Package

To uninstall Process Navigator from the MSI package, Setup.msi, use the following command, either from a Command Prompt window, or from within a CMD file:

msiexec /x "D:\Process Navigator\Setup.msi" /lv* "C:\Temp\PNUninstallLog.txt"

amending the paths to suit, if necessary.
